Jakarta (22/06), PT Traktor Nusantara (TRAKNUS) won the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) award. This award was given by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemnaker RI).

This award was given symbolically by Ida Fauziyah as the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemnaker RI) at the 2023 Occupational Safety and Health Award ceremony at Tribatra Darmawangsa, South Jakarta.

Every year the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemnaker RI) conducts an assessment of the performance of Occupational Health and Safety management of companies operating in Indonesia. The SMK3 assessment or audit of PT Traktor Nusantara (TRAKNUS) will be carried out from 24 to 31 January 2023 by an external auditor appointed by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemnaker RI).

The SMK3 assessment refers to Government Regulation Number 50 of 2012, regarding the Implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems. Where in the audit process an assessment of 166 criteria was carried out, involving several departments such as Human Capital, General Affair, Marketing, Service, Parts and so on.

Pendi Setyawan as the Sustainability, Security, Environment, Health & Safety (SSEHS) Department Head expressed his gratitude for the support of all TRAKNUS personnel involved in the SMK3 audit process. He added that the SMK3 Award received by TRAKNUS is a form of good collaboration from all TRAKNUS personnel to always support K3 policies and programs in the company. This SMK3 award is also proof that the company is committed to creating a safe work environment and work processes for all employees.

Traktor Nusantara (TRAKNUS) will continue to push for programs to create a safer work environment, as well as increase awareness of the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health in all areas of the company's operations, this is in line with the company's Sustainability Index/Sustainability Aspiration.
