Jayapura (07/07) – Morning Spirit of Jayapura !! Morning !! Morning !! Morning !! People Can !! that was the shout of enthusiasm from the Jayapura team during the morning briefing welcoming the arrival of Aloysius Budi Santoso as Chief of Corporate Human Capital Development and Gama Anom Yogotomo as Head of Corporate Industrial Relations on the sidelines of the Branch Forum activities which were held in Jayapura 5 – 7 July 2023.

Branch Forum is an activity carried out by PT. Astra International Tbk every year. 2023 is the first year that the Branch Forum will be held offline. Previously, Branch Forums were held online due to limited face-to-face meetings caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, Branch Forums were held in 6 cities, namely Palembang, Jayapura, Lampung, Palangka Raya, Manado, and Serang.

The Jayapura Branch Forum began with updates on Astra International's business and macroeconomics by Aloysius Budi Santoso, then continued with the presentation of material on Industrial Relations by Gama Anom Yogotomo. At the Branch Forum this time a self-assessment was carried out for each company that is part of the Astra Group Papua Region regarding Labor Law Compliance for Branch (L2CB) assisted by a team from the Head Office of Astra International and closed by the presentation of material from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. In the evening, there was a relaxed sharing agenda with the Manpower Office (Disnaker) which was attended by Djoni Naa as the Head of the Manpower Office, along with a team of 2 people, while enjoying dinner at Rumah Laut Resto. Interesting sharing occurred because Astra Group has become the destination of the Manpower Office in its apprenticeship program. Several Astra Group Papua companies have also conducted apprenticeship programs from the Manpower Office. The aim of this apprenticeship program is so that the people of Papua, especially Indigenous Papuans, can work and be empowered.

On the last day, the Jayapura Branch Forum paid a visit to several selected Astra Group Companies including PT Traktor Nusantara Jayapura Branch. PT Traktor Nusantara became the fourth company visited after United Tractors, Honda Main Dealer, and Federal International Finance. Muhammad Rusdi as the Branch Operation Head of TRAKNUS Jayapura accompanied Aloysius Budi Santoso and Gama Anom Yogotomo and the team touring the TRAKNUS Jayapura office starting from the Yard and Outdoor Warehouse, Workshop, Main Lobby and ending with Sharing about the business running at TRAKNUS Jayapura.

The visit to TRAKNUS Jayapura was closed by giving a plaque from the Astra International Team represented by Aloysius Budi Santoso and Gama Anom Yogotomo to TRAKNUS Jayapura represented by Muhammad Rusdi as the Branch Operation Head of TRAKNUS Jayapura as a memento and a group photo with all employees of PT Traktor Nusantara Jayapura Branch.
