Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra (YDBA) invited the Innovation Traktor Nusantara (TRAKNUS) team to visit YDBA-assisted MSMEs in Cakung, East Jakarta on September 16, 2023. This joint visit aims to introduce YDBA-assisted MSMEs to companies in the Astra Group with the hope that they can continue to collaborate in fostering MSMEs and provide opportunities for MSMEs to supply their products according to established QCD standards. The MSME is PT Narisa Nusantara which focuses on being a craftsman of genuine leather products such as bags, wallets, pouches, jackets, shoes, and others to serve both retail and corporate customers.
Also present at this activity was Rahmat Handoyo as Communication & Information System Department Head of YDBA, who was warmly received by Nina Dahnia as the owner of PT Narisa Nusantara. Nina Dahnia said, before becoming a YDBA-assisted MSME, she had been actively introducing products and increasing sales by participating in various exhibitions organized by ministries, government agencies, banks and independently, but felt that it was not optimal.
To improve and expand the marketing network, currently they have received various trainings organized by Astra and become part of the fostered MSMEs from United Tractors, including being given an understanding of the management of company legality documents, licensing, brand registration, and IPR management which are usually needed to meet the requirements as suppliers.
In line with Astra's ideals to Prosper Together with the Nation, YDBA seeks to develop MSMEs to move up to a more advanced and independent class by providing various development training ranging from management, bookkeeping, production systems, marketing as well as the introduction and understanding of Astra's basic mentality and the application of the 5S concept (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke) as a differentiator from MSMEs assisted by companies outside Astra, said Rahmat Handoyo.
