Traktor Nusantara (TRAKNUS) continues to be committed and determined to excel in an increasingly fierce competitive climate, by giving full attention to the best service by creating integrated solutions covering the entire product and after-sales service in accordance with customer needs. TRAKNUS has prepared steps to sharpen the strategic mission by having a standardized Quality Management System (QMS) to support the organization in improving performance.

One of the methods to establish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System, TRAKNUS held an ISO 9001: 2015 Internal Audit training. This training was attended by 20 participants from SOP Representatives or representatives appointed by each department or functional by taking place in the Head Office Multipurpose Room on May 21-22, 2024. During the event, it was guided by ISO, SOP, & Corporate Communications Staff Qurlita Syaharani and MSIB participant Juliani by presenting professional trainers who have an extensive track record in ISO 9001:2015 training and implementation M. Rofi'i W.N from Intertek Academy. 

The purpose of the training was to prepare and provide knowledge and capabilities for the newly formed Internal Auditor team. In order to master the understanding and skills in carrying out audits according to ISO 9001: 2015 standards. Which will then be given the task of conducting an internal audit of ISO 9001: 2015 in the TRAKNUS environment. Coinciding with the implementation of the External Audit by Intertek SAI Global for the extension of ISO 9001: 2015 certification (re-Certification) this year.

TRAKNUS Human Capital Development Department Head Resti Anggraeni revealed “This training is an important step in ensuring that all business processes at TRAKNUS are in accordance with strict international standards. Through effective internal audits, we can ensure that our quality management system continues to grow and adapt to changing market and regulatory needs,” she added in giving a speech and opening the activity.

ISO 9001:2015 is a global standard for quality management that supports organizations from various sectors in improving performance, meeting customer expectations, and demonstrating commitment to quality.

During the two-day training, participants attended seven comprehensive workshops covering the critical stages of conducting an internal audit. Training sessions included an in-depth look at the basic principles of ISO 9001:2015, internal audit techniques, and how to identify and resolve nonconformities. Relevant case study examples were presented, audit simulations were provided to train participants' practical skills, and interactive forum group discussions were conducted to ensure all participants comprehensively understood the material.

In addition, M Rofi'i also discussed the importance of effective communication during the audit process.  Good communication skills between auditors and auditees are key to obtaining accurate information and building trust. Participants were given the opportunity to practice communication procedures through simulations to experience real audit situations in the field.

Participants' enthusiasm and commitment were evident during the training. One participant stated, “This training is very useful. The material presented was very solid and provided tools and knowledge to conduct audits more effectively. We feel more prepared to contribute in maintaining and improving quality standards in the company,” said one of the participants David Pratama. 

With this training, participants are expected to identify and address potential problems before they develop into issues, and continue to improve processes and procedures in their respective areas. To ensure the sustainability of quality improvement, the training also underscored the importance of proper and accurate documentation. Through internal competency improvement, implementation of international standards, and continuous development, TRAKNUS is determined to adjust the company's quality management strategy according to industry best practices to meet customer needs and adapt to market dynamics. It is believed that the Internal Auditor team has adequate capabilities to conduct internal audits effectively and efficiently.
