Yogyakarta - PT Traktor Nusantara won Three Awards in the 2023 Indonesia Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence Award (ICEA). As we know, ICEA is one of the prestigious award events that can be contested by companies that are considered successful in carrying out Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.

The awards received by PT Traktor Nusantara are (1) Best Corporate – Community Or Non-Profit Partnership Program (2) The Best Sustainability CSR Program, and (3) Best Program in Education or Scholarship Program.

The award was given by Mr Ir. Djati Witjaksono Hadi, M.SI, IPU as the Main Expert Policy Analyst of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry as well as a representative of the jury to Mr Pendi Setyawan as SEHS Department Head of PT Traktor Nusantara at the ICEA 2023 peak event which took place at The Alana Yogyakarta Hotel & Convention Center on Thursday, March 16, 2023.

"Congratulations to PT Traktor Nusantara for receiving several awards today. We support and appreciate PT Traktor Nusantara's efforts in environmental change. This effort can be increased for work areas and other areas where PT Traktor Nusantara products will operate. We hope that the CSR activities carried out by PT Traktor Nusantara can provide wider benefits," said Djati.

Pendi added that "This award is an appreciation for the PT Traktor Nusantara group which has succeeded in developing and implementing CSR programs that have a direct impact on beneficiaries. This is in line with the company's strategy to address issues related to Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) which have been stated in the Astra Sustainability Index.

The ICEA selection and judging process has been carried out since January 2023 by involving dozens of professional judges from various agencies. Acting as chairman of the jury is Professor Martani Huseini (Professor at the University of Indonesia in Business and Administration). The assessment in ICEA 2023 is based on the suitability of the company's CSR implementation of 3 things, namely, ISO 26000, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) Practices. The ICEA 2023 program is supported by several ministries/agencies including the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration, and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia.

We hope together that PT Traktor Nusantara's success in getting this award can at least be maintained and can even become a new spirit for the company to continue to consistently encourage the practice of implementing CSR programs that have a wider impact on the people of the nation and state. (PS)
