Jakarta – PT Traktor Nusantara (TRAKNUS) as a leading heavy equipment company in Indonesia, especially Material Handling and Warehouse Solution products, has been trusted to collaborate with PT Nusa Toyotetsu Corp. The collaboration in question is TRAKNUS supporting the needs of 14 Toyota Electric Forklift Units and 18 Lithium-Ion Battery Units. With the realization of this collaboration, PT Traktor Nusantara and PT Nusa Toyotetsu have succeeded in realizing the mission of Toyota Material Handling International (TMHI), namely "Towards Achieving Global Carbon Neutrality".

The handover of the unit between TRAKNUS and PT Nusa Toyotetsu Corp took place on August 30, 2023. The handover was carried out symbolically by carrying out a demo/trial of the Electric Lithium-Ion Battery Forklift unit at the Traktor Nusantara Training Center located in Rawasumur, Pulogadung.

The handover ceremony for this unit was attended by PT Nusa Toyotetsu Corp and Traktor Nusantara. PT Nusa Toyotetsu Corp was represented by Hari as Senior Purchasing and Muntacho as Assistant General Manager of Maintenance. TRAKNUS was represented by Sri Mahendra as General Manager of the Material Handling Division, Nico Napolion Sitorus as Toyota Sales Area 2 Department Head, and Ridwan Gunawan as Business Consultant. Also taking part in supporting the smooth running of the event, Bayu as Operator from the Marketing Support & Importance Department and Dimas Agung Dwiparona as Application Engineering Staff.

It is hoped that in the future, the realization of the handover of this unit can expand the market share of Lithium-Ion Batteries and can also support customers operationally so that customers get benefits for the company, namely progressing and developing following current trends and markets. The customer also hopes that in the future training on Lithium-Ion Battery units can be held for operators so that when operating and carrying out maintenance they can follow existing procedures.
