Jakarta (04/04) Climate change is a natural phenomenon that cannot be avoided and is not impossible to affect human life. Solidarity, partnership, and cooperation of all parties are key in dealing with the impacts caused by climate change. A series of high-level conference agendas on the prevention of climate change or known as the 26th Conference of Parties (COP) will be held in Glasgow, UK, in October 2021. The Indonesian government has announced that the target of Net Zero Emission (Carbon Neutrality) can be achieved in 2060 or earlier. One of the real steps in realizing Net Zero Emission by planting trees.
PT Traktor Nusantara (TRAKNUS) is committed to always participating in making a real contribution to efforts to realize Net Zero Emissions. This commitment is manifested by tree planting which will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. The tree-planting program is carried out at the PT Traktor Nusantara Yard located at Greenland International Industrial Center (GIIC) – Cikarang. This tree planting program is the result of collaboration with the Karya Bakti United Tractors Foundation, in this case, through the Indonesian Heavy Equipment Professional Certification Agency (LSP ABI).
On that occasion also presented Mr. Eddy Harsono as the Head of LSP ABI in the tree planting program, accompanied by Bpk. Agus Suyitno as Head of Marketing & Business Development and Mr. Robi Tubagus Yuni as Head of Standardization & Quality. PT Traktor Nusantara was represented by Bpk. Pendi Setyawan as Head of Security - EHS and Mr. Ahmad Fauzi as Deputy Head of General Affairs. Furthermore, PT Traktor Nusantara will continue to strive to support the achievement of Net Zero Emission either by increasing the number of trees planted or by using New and Renewable Energy in carrying out its business operations.
