In order to foster awareness of the importance of workers' health, PT Traktor Nusantara held a Mini Medical Checkup (MCU) which was enthusiastically welcomed by workers. This activity took place on September 5, 2023, at the PT Traktor Nusantara Clinic with a total of 90 workers from various divisions attending, inspiring a collective spirit and marking the company's determination to realize a better quality of life for all workers.
This activity initiated by the Human Capital Services Department and SSEHS Department has a very important purpose, which is to conduct early detection of disease risk and prevent the occurrence of chronic diseases. PT Traktor Nusantara has established close cooperation with Astra Life and Siloam Agora Hospital in the implementation of activities as an effort to maintain health with adequate treatment.
One of the participants, Rezza Ikhwansyah, also the Corporate Procurement Department Head, shared his experience and how this activity was very useful. Rezza Ikhwansyah realized that it had been more than a year since he had his last health check. For a worker with a lot of activities, prioritizing health is often forgotten. However, this event rejuvenated his drive to ensure his health and reminded him to maintain his lifestyle by continuing to exercise actively.
In the Mini MCU session, participants were also given an understanding of the results of the examination, so that it is expected to increase insight into how to maintain health and focus on aspects that need further attention.
The results of this Mini MCU activity recorded encouraging data. Based on calculations from the health agency, all workers had normal blood sugar levels, indicating good health. Total cholesterol also showed positive results, with 64% of workers having cholesterol levels within the normal range. In addition, the uric acid measurement results also showed good conditions, with 62% of workers having uric acid levels that were in line with health standards. However, although the majority of the examination results show good health conditions, abnormal results will be the focus of preventive and promotive programs that will be implemented for PT Traktor Nusantara workers.
By conducting the Mini MCU, PT Traktor Nusantara is not only showing concern for workers' welfare, but also paving the way for workers to care more about their personal health. This is a positive step that benefits both parties, with improved worker welfare that will have a positive impact on productivity and happiness in the workplace. This Mini MCU activity is not just a medical activity, but also an investment in health and quality of life that can be useful in the long run for PT Traktor Nusantara workers.
