Traktor Nusantara (TRAKNUS) Group reaffirmed its dedication to humanitarian values by organizing a blood donation event which took place at the Dining Room of TRAKNUS Head Office on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. This event was held in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Bekasi Regency. A total of 69 blood bags were collected as an illustration of the enthusiasm and social awareness of the workers. This activity is a manifestation of TRAKNUS Sustainability Navigator pillar TRAKNUS CSR SEHAT “Healthy and Prosperous Life” (SDGs No. 3).
Throughout 2024, TRAKNUS Group has successfully donated 315 blood bags. The involvement of all workers and management ranks to donate blood as a form of effort to strengthen the humanitarian dimension for those in need. Also as a tangible manifestation of TRAKNUS's affirmation not only focusing on business sustainability, but also on social and humanitarian sustainability.
According to data from PMI, the need for blood in Indonesia reaches 5 million bags per year, but the available blood supply is still lacking. The voluntary act of donating blood from every worker plays an important role in contributing to increasing the availability of blood supply for medical purposes, especially in emergency situations.
“We believe that every drop of blood donated has a great meaning in saving the lives of others,” said Sustainability, Security, Environment, Health & Safety (SSEHS) Staff Naufal Raihan Riandi.
This event is also a place to foster the spirit of togetherness and mutual cooperation, to create a more conducive work atmosphere and care for others. The success of this year's blood donation event also shows that the caring culture built by TRAKNUS Group has been well internalized. (NRR)
