TRAKNUS Receives Perkins Award “The Highest Hypercare (Service Contract)”

Traktor Nusantara (TRAKNUS) reaffirmed its position as a trusted strategic partner in the Power Generation industry by winning a prestigious award from Perkins principals, namely The Highest Hypercare (Service Contract) Achievement, in the Asia Pacific (APAC) Service TC & Conference 2025 event held in Bali on February 26-27, 2025. This award is a concrete proof of TRAKNUS' commitment in providing the best product support services that are aligned with Perkins' global vision in ensuring the reliability and sustainability of customer needs. 

The biennial event was attended by 44 representatives from various Perkins distributors in the Asia Pacific region. TRAKNUS itself was represented by four main delegates: President Director Harijadi Mawardi, Power, Agro & Construction Business Director Handi Wibowo, Product Support Division Head Supriyadi, and Service Technical Support Department Head Febricho Handra. The presence of TRAKNUS representatives was not only to receive awards, but also to take an active role in discussion sessions and presentations related to trends and service opportunities in the Electric Power sector.

President Director Harijadi Mawardi in the sharing session reviewed several trends that occurred in Indonesia, as well as updates on several service programs such as Hypercare and Perkins Platinum Protection. “TRAKNUS is committed to continuing to invest in developing digitalization that can improve operation excellence so that it can continue to improve service to customers,” he explained.

Another strategic initiative, TRAKNUS has also developed an overhaul package specifically designed for popular engine models with a fixed price (single rate) and guaranteed processing time. “We continue to strengthen collaboration with Perkins principals to bring overhaul solutions that are not only efficient, but also provide greater added value for our customers,” added Harijadi Mawardi.

In a panel discussion featuring the Top 5 Distributors in Asia Pacific, Handi Wibowo emphasized that service growth depends not only on market expansion, but also on optimizing the customer experience. “Service excellence is not only reflected in the number of contracts we manage, but also in how we are able to bring long-term value to Perkins engine users,” he said.

In cooperation with customers of Perkins products that are managed, TRAKNUS currently manages a population of 14,959 units in Indonesia. TRAKNUS is the distributor with the largest number of service contracts in Asia Pacific until January 2025. The Hypercare program offered includes Preventive Maintenance Contract (PMC), Repair and Maintenance Contract (RMC), as well as Advanced Maintenance Contract (AMC), to ensure every customer gets certainty of maintenance and sustainability of their engine operations.

This form of award received is a form of validation of Perkins' trust in TRAKNUS as a reliable distributor and in line with the principal's vision in delivering Operational Excellence. “Hopefully, we will continue to increase the number of Hypercare to further ensure the sustainability of the service business and at the same time increase Customer Delight, which ultimately encourages an increase in repeat orders in both units and product support,” said Febricho Handra.
