Traktor Nusantara (TRAKNUS) has 3 pillars that become a place for the Company's contribution to social responsibility or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), to the surrounding community, namely TRAKNUS Cerdas, TRAKNUS Sehat, and TRAKNUS Rindang.
A series of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program initiatives launched is TRAKNUS's commitment in participating in building a sustainable society. The aspect of education is one of the main keys in developing the community while gaining knowledge and improving skills as well as shaping the character of each ethical individual who has special moral values to create a positive contribution to the country and nation.
As a form of TRAKNUS support in the field of Education, the TRAKNUS Smart pillar has been demonstrated in the TRAKNUS Teaching program. After proving consistency in fostering more than 50 vocational schools throughout Indonesia, the TRAKNUS Teaching program was held again to support partners in fostering vocational education at Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri (SMKN) 1 Bekasi on September 30, 2024. The event was attended by 8 teachers and officials of SMKN 1 Bekasi and 115 students from various majors.
In order to encourage literacy and enrich knowledge in line with industry needs, TRAKNUS Mengajar this time presented three expert speakers in the field of science and experience in the industrial world. In the first session Application Engineering Department Head Rifyan Faliq presented material on Light Vehicle Engineering, followed by Accounting & Taxes Deputy Department Head Muhammad Maulana Imam Soedjarwo sharing insights about Accounting and Taxation, and in the last session Marketing Communication Department Head Muhammad Adam Ghaffary provided Visual Communication Design training.
“We really appreciate the TRAKNUS initiative to provide technical insights, as well as open students' horizons in understanding the dynamics of an ever-evolving industry. Hopefully this program can be a sustainable collaboration and provide long-term benefits for vocational education in SMK,” said the Principal of SMKN 1 Bekasi, Drs. Boan, M.Pd.
“How important it is for students to continue to develop themselves, especially in facing a changing and challenging world. Industry needs individuals who are not only technically competent, but also able to adapt quickly to changes and market needs”, he added.
TRAKNUS Sustainability Security Environment Health & Safety Department Head Pendi Setyawan hopes, “This program can continue to be sustainable to create a learning environment that is relevant to the industry. Support from various divisions at TRAKNUS to synergize and collaborate can be implemented for the sake of contributing to advancing education that has a long-term and significant impact,” he said.
