Traktor Nusantara (TRAKNUS) Group again recorded the principle of Operational Excellence by winning three “Bronze Winner” awards for the Service category. The awards were presented at the peak of “The 13th Indonesia Operational Excellence Conference & Award” (OPEXCON 24) organized by SSCX International at The Westin Hotel Jakarta on November 21, 2024. A prestigious award event held annually to encourage innovation and operational transformation in various industrial sectors in Indonesia.
This year's OPEXCON takes the theme “The Next-Gen Operational Excellence” which emphasizes the importance of company adaptation in the era of disruption through technology integration, visionary leadership and process innovation. The organization of OPEXCON 2024 involves a series of activities such as innovation webinars, workshops and the final judging stage by bringing together more than 170 finalists from 70 leading companies in Indonesia. In this event, TRAKNUS Group again sent delegates to showcase innovative flagship projects in an effort to increase efficiency and productivity, including embedding sustainability values.
The selection process was very rigorous, involving a panel of judges consisting of academics, operational experts & industry professionals, innovation consultants, and the Ministry of Industry who provided objective assessments of various aspects of each project.
The first award was won for the implementation of the Green House Gas (GHG) Emission Reduction project innovation led by General Affair Department Head Ahmad Fauzi. This project is TRAKNUS's commitment in carrying out sustainability practices with the main objective of reducing carbon footprints through the application of various environmentally friendly technologies focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions that have a positive impact on environmental sustainability.
The second award was obtained as a form of appreciation for the implementation of the company's logistics efficiency program, namely On Time In Full (OTIF) Improvement at a Key Account Customer. This project was led directly by Parts Logistics & Warehouse Department Head Mohammad Subiyantoro. It is considered successful in making an important contribution in improving customer satisfaction through a timely and complete delivery system that has an impact on reducing delays and driving efficiency.
In addition, TRAKNUS subsidiary Swadaya Harapan Nusantara (SHN) also received the “Bronze Winner” award for its success in creating positive changes in supporting the business by running innovative projects in the field of Used Equipment and Short Term Rental. This initiative program focuses on forklift refurbishment, led by Marketing, Cost Control & Administration Department Head Pungky Indra Widyarto. The award was presented directly to Andreas Agavetra Agung Nugroho as the company representative.
