Marking the first step to start in the new year 2025, Material Handling Business (MHB) and Swadaya Harapan Nusantara (SHN) held a coordination meeting in order to harmonize business sustainability measures. The event took place at the TRAKNUS Training Center, Rawa Sumur, Jakarta on Friday, January 10, 2025, which was attended by all managerial ranks and all MHB division staff and SHN rental division.
The beginning of the year is the right moment to consolidate and reflect together on the achievements of the previous year, as well as plan improvement efforts and develop new strategies and steps in facing challenges this year. This inaugural meeting at the beginning of the year is also a forum for gathering and introducing the team and their roles. Apart from that, it was also used to openly discuss strategic planning and targets. Together, they discussed ideas for programs that could be combined to seize market opportunities and increase revenue contributions. This activity was held solely to strengthen the synergy and communication between teams to run more effectively.
The event was opened by SHN Marketing & Sales Director Handoko, who in his speech highlighted the challenges faced and business opportunities that can be utilized in the industrial sector. “We all know that currently there has been a transition and rapid change in material handling equipment technology to the basis of electrification, automation and robotics. Global pressure in order to reduce carbon emissions, thus requiring customers to use environmentally friendly equipment. This is our common challenge, lithium battery is the future, and now TRAKNUS has Traknus Lithium Battery”. “Thanks to all, we have dared to step in the opportunity to take advantage of opportunities. Aggressive breakthroughs have been made by Business Consultant (BC) MHB and Rental so that they are able to reach potential customers, especially global companies accompanied by solutions that can be enjoyed by customers,“ he said.
The next session, Division Head of Material Handling Business Sri Mahendra, presented the MHB division's sales performance report in 2024 from each area, as well as conveying a number of obstacles and challenges faced along with strategies that have been implemented in the midst of intense competition in the industrial sector. The contribution of speed up delivery to aggressive promotion is a decisive factor.
The Product Support team also enriched the discussion, reviewing the latest technical issues involving load capacity and other operational challenges. Another interesting moment was the explanation of Toyota Lean Logistic Management (TLLM) by introducing a new approach in optimizing the logistics process.
Likewise, the Product Management 1 team also elaborated on Toyota's “To the Top Campaign” sales strategy. This campaign is judged based on the barometer of the number of factory orders (FO) with a minimum limit set for forklift models 8FB, 8FBE, and 8FBN. This approach not only encourages increased sales performance of the campaigned products, but also fosters team motivation with awards and appreciation. As well as instilling optimism of a healthy competitive spirit in each BC)
Strengthening the symbiosis of MHB and SHN rental needs to continue to be fostered in the face of changing business situations so that it needs to be balanced with the right strategic steps by prioritizing added value to meet the solutions needed by customers. Thus we have a competitive advantage differentiation from competitors in terms of approaching strategies to increase customer satisfaction. That way customers will not easily switch, which in turn TRAKNUS will further establish market dominance or continue to remain the market leader in the industrial sector. In closing, this meeting not only strengthens synchronization, but also sows great hope for TRAKNUS Group.
